INGREDIENTS:

Whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder

YOU WILL NEEED:

2 eggs or egg replacement
2 cups milk or plant-based milk
3 tbsp oil or melted butter
1 x 450g bag of Sixteen Grains Pancake Mix

PREP:

Mix together liquid ingredients.
Add Sixteen Grains Mix. Stir or Whisk to combine. Add a splash of milk if needed.
Add 1/2 cup of batter to a hot oiled pan
Pancakes are ready to flip when bubbles appear on top and begin to pop.
Serve with your favourite topping

Delicious pancakes

This was my first time trying the Sixteen Grains pancakes. Before even trying the product I like that it's Canadian made and had only 3 simple ingredients. It was very easy to mix and prepare based on the instructions given. The pancakes turned out fluffy and not too sweet. I did not use maple syrup and instead had jam and a chocolate spread with some fruits, and the sweetness was perfectly balanced. Overall I really liked the flavor and texture of the pancake and will definitely purchase this again.

Six Grains Pancake Mix

From mixing the ingredients to loving the recommendation to replace the eggs with one banana or apple sauce- something I have never seen on pancake packaging- Six grain pancake mix is a true treat for the taste buds. I'm a new fan of six grain pancake mix-from the first bite to the last.

Delicious & easy to make pancakes!

The Sixteen Grains pancakes are easy to mix and prepare and are delicious! The pancakes are flavourful and have a great soft and chewy texture. When I made up the mix it was more runny than other pancake mixes I've used before, but the pancakes came out perfectly. The pancakes held up well when I poured syrup on them - they didn't get mushy. I like that they're whole wheat and made in Canada too!

First time buyer

the sixteen grain pancake mix consists of only 3 ingredients. whole wheat flour,sugar and baking powder.
Once all mixed together, the batter was not runny. It had a nice medium firm consistency to it. While in the pan it raised in thickness and held it's shape when it came to flipping the pancake over, unlike other brands i would struggle with that resulting with misshaped pancakes. Without any topping/syrups one could eat the pancake by itself, especially if apple sauce or bananas were used as an egg replacement. This could be a great snack for toddler's or the elderly and anyone else in-between. You can taste the grains, but it isn't overbearing and dry. They were quite fluffy and filling. i would definitely purchase these again and recommend them to my friends.
Lastly, if you have a big family you may wanna pick up 2 packs.
